Mission of constant development in the field of hyperspectral imaging

SPECIM, located in area of Technopolis in the city of Oulu in Finland, was founded in 1995 by three scientists with extensive experience in optical spectrometry.

Excellence and expertise

Specim has long standing experience in developing solutions for spectrometric applications, optics and instruments in the field of hyperspectral imaging. Specim's main expertise is in imaging spectrographs, spectral cameras, spectral scanner solutions and complete remote sensing systems that are all based on transmissive dispersive optics.

Specim is devoted to finding solutions i.e. in the field of process analytical technologies, life science, and agricultural & environmental research.

Specim policy is to dedicate its own organisation to the continuous development and high quality manufacture of state of the art spectral imaging products, and providing support to our customers. We are teaming up with other international experts for
